Nothing could be further than the truth. Singing well is a natural human ability that anyone who is not tone deaf can master with the correct training.

All you need to become a good singer is a belief in yourself and some good singing lessons. Some people hire a local vocal coach but I do not really recommend that. Why? For one thing it’s extremely expensive to pay someone per lesson. For another thing a lot of local vocal coaches don’t really use the best methods and have a lot of very outdated and simply wrong ideas about singing. Instead I would recommend downloading singing lessons online so that you can pay just one time and have unlimited access to the latest information on learning how to sing.
