Twitter http Facebook www.facebook.com This lesson teaches the basic note values and rhythm counting. Whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes are included. Reading rhythms and understanding note values are fundamental musical concepts. Like many others, Obie Leff teaches a simple syllable system for rhythm counting. However, Obie has taken the lesson one step further by developing a set of hand signs and movements into the lesson for a total physical response and improved retention. The shapes and movement are called, Obie Leff Rhythm Hand Signs, are trademarked by Obie Leff, and may not be republished without expressed written consent from Obie Leff.
