I’ve put all of my hard work and my own creativity into this video (lip trills and tongue trills at the same time, etc). I’m giving it away for free, so I hope you enjoy this information and put it to good use. The sources for the ‘black stallion and komodo dragon’ picture I use at the end of the video are: ‘crazy-frankenstein.com’ & ‘www.k12.hi.us’
I’ve listened to and followed ‘how to sing’ programs such as: Singing Success, The Zen of Screaming 1 & 2, + some other singing programs. I’ve also looked up a trillion videos on how to sing on the internet, and have read some books on singing and read information on how to sing on the internet. So I’ve put all of my hard work and my own creativity into this video. I’ve spent a over 5.5 years of non-stop brain cramming figuring out all of this stuff, and I’m giving it away for free, so I hope you enjoy this information and put it to good use. I mixed three pictures that I found on google together, for the picture at the beginning.

If you’re a person that loves to sing in front of many people, then better singing techniques is very important to empower you to deliver a better singing show. Learning a practicing these vocal techniques will go a long way and lets you sing those karaoke songs that you like. By following these techniques you can develop a stronger voice, with a better voice range. You will also be able to hit notes easily without straining your voice.
By following these vocal techniques that i will give you later, your breath will last longer and you won’t end up having to stop in the middle of a song to take a breath. Below are vocal techniques that help you improve your singing voice.
Exercise
Just like any other athlete, singers too need to warm up their voice before singing to avoid strain. Here are some effective warm up exercises:
Slowly count to four and take a deep breath. Hold it while counting to four again. Then, let your breath out with a hissing sound while you count to eight. Do this exercise a few times.
Take a very deep breath, then sing “ahhhh” until your breath run out. Quietly start your voice and then make it louder and louder as you let your breath out.
Another technique is sironing. This technique lets you warm up your voice range. Start as low as you can, then go up to the highest note that you can, and then finally go back down to your lowest note again.
Sing your voice scales with each vowel sound, do the eight notes up and back again.
Another exercise is by doing some tongue twister as fast as you can to warm up your tongue, your lips, your cheeks, and your mouth.
Breathe With Your Diaphragm
One of the considered most important vocal technique to enable you to sing your karaoke songs like a professional is to breathe with your diaphragm. Diaphragm is the area below your rib cage. You can feel it expand to bring air when you take a deep breathe. I advise you to concentrate keeping your lungs expanded using the entire space provided when your diaphragm is expanded. When you try to breathe out, do not push out the air, instead let is escape with your melodious notes. With practice, you will notice that your voice is stronger and easier to control.
Raising Your Soft Palate
Soft palate is the area at the top of the back of your mouth. You can feel it rise up when you are starting to yawn. When it rises, it will open up your throat. It is important to concentrate on keeping this soft palate raised while you are singing and your voice will sound better.
Keeping Voice Box Low
It is also important how to learn how to keep your larynx or what we call voice box, low. You can feel your voice box in your neck, located right at the front of your throat. Put your hand on it, and practice vocalizing without the larynx rising up. This technique may take a while. When you have accomplished this technique, move on to practicing your karaoke songs while keeping your larynx down.
Relax Your Body
Another vocal technique is trying to relax your body. Release the tension from your body, especially in the upper body.
You’ve just learned professional vocal techniques to help you sing great karaoke songs. Practice those vocal techniques and rest assured that you’ll have a quality voice.

If you love to sing and you have the passion for it then probably you know that there many different ways of approaching this pursuit. Some more effective and pleasant compared to others. Everyone can sing but not everybody sounds very nice. Are you asking yourself now how to learn to sing effectively? Wonder how you can improve your sound and even your pitch or tone so that you can enjoy singing more?
Below i am going to discuss to you a few things on how you can learn to sing effectively.
Always remember that singing effectively doesn’t mean singing louder. I’m sure you have heard other people singing very loud and it is irritating to the ears. I’m sure you do not like this to happen to you. You may have heard this in amateur contests, singers push their voice up to their highest volume and raising their pitch thinking this is to do good in their singing or make it sound better. But that is not the case, people will just see you as shouting and not singing. The sound instead becomes pitchy. When learning to sing effectively, you need to sing from your heart as well as your entire body. In singing you must involve your diaphragm, back muscles, and your entire voice box. You need to control your voice, as well as your tone and pitch for you to sound good. And this means not just singing more but controlling the vibrations in your throat for a deeper and richer sound. More quality sound!
Another thing is that you need also to practice your flexibility. Vocal exercise must be done slowly and then quickly and then slowly again, so that your voice will become flexible as you learn to control notes. Likewise you can also control your volume as begin softly and then to a higher volume and back down again to lower volume. They ultimate key to effective singing is in controlling every note as well as pitch and every sound you make. Singing is not just pushing the sound from your throat.
One more tip is listen to your voice. You must also listen to sound that comes out of your mouth and evaluate if you sound good or not. Singing is not just shouting, and having your voice louder. It is about making a quality sound that will make the people listening to you entertained. You must always remember that no one wants to listen to a person singing whose voice is screechy or pitchy. Proper breathing technique must also be observed. The most common thing in singing effectively is constant practice. You just have to practice every day if possible if you want to develop your voice and effectively sing.
If you will follow these simple tips, i’m pretty sure your singing ability will improve. By following the tips i mentioned earlier in this article you can have the quality of voice that you desire and eventually end up joining singing contests in your area.
